need help with my 99 nomad. she used to just backfire and sputter out once in awhile. yesterday it got progressively worse till the things damn near unraidable. Sometimes it's at certain throttle positions other times the whole range. I can run it out to Full Throttle and it's okay for like a minute then the same thing. I pulled the carburetor out tore it down and clean it. no change in Behavior. could this be a throttle position sensor or the ignition box or something with the rectifier regulator. any advice would be much appreciated

BENEFIT AND MEMORIAL RIDE JULY 16 IN RUSHFORD/WINONA, MN AREA FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS
This past May, our co-worker was murdered as a result of domestic violence. The man sits in jail now, awaiting trial. At work, we were told she had broken off the relationship, and was trying to start over, but like so many, it ended sadly. She was a spirited, private, young, petite redhead, with a big heart, who worked hard to provide for her babies, and was CRAZY about her two little babies, a 1 year old and a 3 year old. She is missed by many. Her family, friends, and the community is hosting a Benefit and Memorial Ride for her babies during Rushford Days, in Rushford, MN this SATURDAY, JULY 16, 2016, starting at 10 AM at Stumpy's Bar in Rushford. Cars, bikes, all vehicles, are welcome. See attached flyer for details. You can verify her story at these local papers:

Okay so it's that time of year again. For anyone heading to Sturgis from east or south. My wife and I have a patch of grass about 280 miles east of sturgis on the corner of US HWY281and interstate 90 just outside plankinton SD. Any and all riders are welcome to set up a tent park their camper for the nite and make the final run into sturgis the next day. Will have a cold beer and good fellowship ready when you get here. Planning to do another cook out biker party the first Saturday of the rally but all are welcome any time you pass thru. We have 5 acres so space is not an issue. You can message me here or text me at (605)858-0197 with any questions or just to touch base before you get here. I will post on several groups but feel free to share this post to get the word out.
(Free will donation is never turned down but not necessary or expected.)

Hey guys. I just have sold my '09 Nomad 1700. I had a PCV on there. Needless to say, I didn't let that go with it. I have it for sale. Here's my eBay link. I'm willing to part with it person to person instead of eBay also. It will fit any 1700 series Vulcan 09-15.

I will be riding my Rogue next Saturday to help kick Cancer's ass, rain or shine. I ask all of you that are not riding with us to OC to ride wherever you are in spirit and raise some awareness on Cancer's evil in your own back yard.
Peace and love,

Went on a little soul search ride today just myself. Around 185 miles. Went from Grand Island to Loup City. Then turned around and came back to Rockville and was going to stop at The Dam Bar (yes thats the name) but they were closed for memorial weekend. Then shot over and up to Scotia and rode through some of the bluffs and went to the river overview stop. Then down to Dannebrog. And back up to St Paul. Then finally back to Grand Island. Dont think i found much for soul searching. But the solitude was nice. Have been so stressed out lately that its affecting my health. Was nice to just be out with the bike. Hardly any traffic. Just hills and miles. I love going up North. Good part of the state with good scenery. Up in river country it was bug tastic. Helmet and bike are caked. Broke in the new leather with bugs as well. Now its time for a beer and a nap
This project started the last week of April 23 and finished today. Tank and fenders are powder coated, new light kit, painted some chrome, wrapped the pipes, and changed a rocker cover gasket. All for under $400!
Don't you just love sunny weekends and Vulcans? What a great combination

Anyone know a place online (like bikebandit or cheapcycleparts) that accepts paypal? I need 2 spacer/collars for my 07 2000 classic lt. The piece that the bolt for the lower part goes through to keep the bracket off the lower triple tree cover. Part #92152A. Or does someone have 2 of them? I need them before the 29th because I have an almost 400 mile ride. And really don't want to go with no windshield...
BTW just an FYI if by chance it rains on May 29th the American will still have the party because the Make A Wish Foundation still needs the money. the party is only 10 dollars so you'll have more money to buy chances with. You don't have to worry because it's not going to rain

Folks. let me preface this post by saying, I do not normally post personal pleas for assistance or charity. I have always tried my best to keep my personal life and matters separate from the pages I am a member of....that being said, I am forced under duress, by my wife to make this plea. Her logic is, as she put it:
"The people and organizations you put so much time and effort into, must surely understand why you are making this plea...and if they don't then they are not worth the countless hours you devote the causes."
Maybe she is right, I don't know. I do know I am at my wits end, and have exhausted all of my options.
Please read the article and watch the video, if you can't help, please at least share the page, maybe someone else can.
I do hope you understand, and afford me this one gesture.

Ive been waiting to buy the Voyager for a few years now. I think they finally have the bugs worked out since they came out with the newer model in 2012(?). Now that I am ready to buy, I see they only make one color scheme for that model the past 3 years - usually a combination of black/grey. Im just wondering why they dont offer more color schemes. The first year they had several choices.

As a woman who loves her motorcycles, I looked forward to joining this group of fellow Vulcan owners. I enjoy seeing the BEAUTIFUL bikes, modifications, and creative ideas other owners have out there (all makes, especially Vulcans). The GENUINE tech advice is valuable. HOWEVER--I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE PORNOGRAPHY THAT IS BEING RECEIVED FROM SOME OF THE MEMBERS OF THIS SITE!! I have tight security features on my fb settings, but they get through this site. Admins, if there is anything you can do, please help!
