Got stranded with a flat once on my '05 Vulcan 1500 Classic and I'd like not to be in that situation again. I recently put together an emergency flat kit. I carry it in a canvas pouch. The valve stem elbow allows the nozzle on the green slime to reach the straight valve stem on the front tire. I keep the can wrapped in the old sock to prevent damage to the nozzle from vibration or other items in my saddle bags. Hopefully it will never be needed!

Selling the mini tinted windshield off of my 2015 Voyager. It's basically the stock Vaquero windshield. I bought it when I bought my bike from the dealer. Installed once. It looks awesome, but I'm 6'5" and the wind rattles my brain and I can't hear my music. $50 plus the ride to Locust Grove, Ga. or the cost of shipping to you.

Thanks in advance.

Well, after much research, I "lucked" upon a set of Kicker CS-65 6 1/2" speakers. They have a set of holes on the inner ring (around the foam) that line up perfectly with the factory holes in the Kawasaki speaker pods. I then drilled a few pilot holes in the factory speak pod to accommodate the Kicker speaker grills. They sound way better than the factory cones already and I haven't even hooked up the amp, front speakers of subwoofer yet. The subwoofer is a whole other project, as Kenwood wasn't able to assist me at all when it comes to how to port my tour pack to get the sound out.

Now I know this isn't an inexpensive option for those that don't already have the factory speaker pods, but for those of us that do, it's a good way to get better sound out of them. I've also heard that if you take some foam out of an old pillow and stick it in behind the speakers, in the pods, (as well as behind the speakers in the fairing) you'll get a deeper sound. I'll update about that once I actually hook the amp up and can test it out both ways for a true comparison.

Good luck and I'll be happy to answer any questions you guys have, if I know the answer.

Until then, keep the shiny side up!!!

WARNING BIKERS IN LA CROSSE, WI AREA: I just saw this posting on Craigslist: https://lacrosse.craigslist.or g/rnr/5489125848.html If it is real, this person is gonna be in for it when he/she gets caught!! I've had beer poured in my old Harley's gas tank years ago. I don't take kindly to ANYONE messing with my bike, NO MATTER WHAT I RIDE! Brake fluid eats paint!

Got one yesterday

Remember when I said I carried a squirt gun filled with brake fluid? I was parking at the mall yesterday when lo and behold a loud motorcycle just happened to park next to me... I hosed his tank with a couple of squirts as well as his fenders.

That boy is gunna be PISSED! lol I wonder if I can beat last year's record of 4 bikes sprayed.

do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers

Went from living most of my life in rural areas of paved IL roads for riding, to living way out in the rural MN backwoods. Miles of gravel roads, pot holes, sandy swampy roads, plus deep snow and ice from delayed plowing. What a nightmare for riding my Vulcans! Not to mention detailing my babies! They now look like crap before I even leave the driveway. People ask if I even clean them, without knowing that I just spent hours detailing just prior to the ride. The scenery and winding roads of Wisconsin and Minnesota are worth it though! Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
