As of now observe ko muna ang motor ko.... Ano po ang masasabi nyo baka kasi may nakaexperience na rin nito.... Salamat ng marami :-)

  • For those that REALLY don't like to corner, I assume?

  • I was just thinking I could never hammer a corner to the right with my stock exhaust. And I bet I would start sanding my Corbin Beetle bags on the left.

  • Sure would look good in my driveway though!!

  • Makes the bike look super sexy...but it breaks your shock. I've now been through 2 oem shocks. Just spend the money now (and once) & get the progressive w/ 1" factory drop. If ya REALLY want this piece, I'll sell ya mine.

  • i had that lowering kit on my bike, but took it off because i had clearance problems with inter plastic fender & not enough clearence on turns with 2 up

  • The guy I knew rode to Los Angeles and back to Charlotte, NC in 100 hours.

  • I really like riding even alone, It's therapy. My first iron but ride was great, I look forward to my next. Not everyone's cup of tea, but for me its great.

  • I rode from ky almost to sturgis sd, kept all receipts but never sent them in.

I proved to my self in could do it, but I don't think it's safe, i know that with fatigue my reaction time slowed down to an unsafe level and my alertness was even worse

Thought I would forward this email I received from Metzeler Consumer Affairs.

Let the debate begin :)

There are always misconceptions about tires that never

seem to go away. It seems that many people think tires are simply a universal

product and they can be randomly use in any application and as the consumer see

fits. This of course is very far from the truth. The TRA (Tire and Rim Assoc.)

and the ETRTO (European Tire and Rim Assoc.) set standards for the tire and rim

industry to follow to guarantee safety and cohesiveness in said industry.

This means that there are specifications that must be adhered to and when you

look at motorcycle and automotive wheels you will find 2 things. The first thing

is the rim flange area where the tire fits to the rim, and the specifications

(shape, spacing, measurements) for the automotive wheel are very different than

a motorcycle wheel. Secondly is the diameter of the rim where the bottom of the

bead rests. Again the diameter specification for the automotive wheel is very

different than a motorcycle rim. So while you can say a 16" tire should have

EXACTLY the same diameter whether it is a car tire or bike tire the truth is

that they do not!

So installing a motorcycle tire on a auto rim or a automotive tire on a

motorcycle rim would be unsafe and a catastrophic failure could happen during

the installation or during use.

  • I'm with Casey on this, we who decide to still use MC Tyres don't make bad comments about the "Darkside" but we seem to get a lot of crap from a few (not all) darkside users that we are idiots, this is our choice as is your choice to use car tyres, we all have a passion for riding and for the monster that is the V2K so we should all enjoy that......... Just my view on this!!

  • i am with you phil, as much as the darkside was good and has its benefits i am going back to the mc tyre as i miss the cornering

  • it's a pity that no major publication would ever do a side by side comparison over one or two years and settle this business once and for all.

FOR SALE. ZIC Lubricants are made from Yubase a very high viscosity index — Kawasaki Fury 125

FOR SALE: "ZIC" Lubricants are made from Yubase, a very high-viscosity-index (VHVI) base oil (Group III) extracted at high temperatures and high pressure. VHVI base oil shows little change in viscosity as temperature changes, so the special properties of lubrication oil is maintained at any temperature.

No impurities are found in the base oil which helps prevent oxidation or degradation from rising temperatures. This means added protection for the engine and higher fuel efficiency.

Motor oils in general, cannot withstand the high temperature that is generated in the engine while the vehicle is in operation. They easily oxidize or evaporate and does not fully protect the engine. Since ZIC is made from Yubase (Group III), the crystalline impurities that form like diamonds at high temperatures and under high pressure are eliminated. ZIC thoroughly protects the engine by providing a strong coating even during extreme engine conditions.

ZIC lubricants, the next synthetic Engine lubricant is produced by SK Energy Ltd of the Republic of Korea.

VHVI (Very High Viscosity Index) TECH is SK’s propriety oil technology that offers the following advantages:

•BETTER ENGINE PROTECTION– YUBASE contains no harmful impurities that interrupt performance, provides better engine cleanliness and engine protection with cutting-edge additives

•LONGER DRAIN INTERVAL – slows down oil aging and extends oil drain interval because of excellent oxidation stability of YUBASE oil and its additives

•LOWER OIL CONSUMPTION – VHVI has much less light oil portion that vaporizes in high temperature engine and leads to minimizing oil consumption.

•ECO FRIENDLY - Lower carbon engine emissions and lower oil disposal volumes, low volatility and low aromatics)

and hence, reap the following benefits:

•LOWER FUEL CONSUMPTION - ZIC provides good friction behavior and wear protection thus reduces down time and fuel consumption (high viscocity index, high parrafin, good additive response)

•LONGER ENGINE LIFE

•LOWER OIL CONSUMPTION - Minimal oil top up between oil drain

  • oh, there's a bike in that picture?

  • I forgot I even had this pic on here. Wife looks the same, but my bike looks nothing like that anymore. The first 6 years I had the bike I did "small" things to it. This past year, I've changed it a lot.
