  • How do you like it so far?

  • Superb... so much power.... i just love it

  • I don't think the Mean Streak is that much different than my 1600 Classic. Maybe just the styling. I do love the styling of the streak!

  • Yes.. but after using my VN 800 for so long, than changing to 1600... i can feel the diff

  • Sandman I can so realte to you bro. I just sold my 800 classic and got a 1600 3 weeks ago, I have been burning up the miles. Wow what a difference :-)

  • I know, looks like a full week of rain, no sun until Sunday

  • I move water from one end of the state to the other in my sneakers lately... hoping to find out what it feels like to ride in the sun again....

  • I read some blogs that say a 240 will fit, I actually measured my opening and I believe it will, but I went back to the 200. 60 bucks cheaper and I did not want to change the handling

  • the last Harley-meeting i have seen a Bike with a 360-tyre,... in worth of 80.000 Euros,.... two Hypercharger and many other stuff,.... it was a very, very beautiful bike !

Bare boarded an airplane and took his seat. As he settled in, he glanced up and saw the most beautiful woman boarding the plane. He soon realized she was heading straight towards his seat. As fate would have it, she took the seat right beside his.

Eager to strike up a conversation he blurted out, "Business trip or pleasure?"

She turned, smiled and said, "Business. I'm going to the Annual Nymphomaniacs of America Convention in Boston."

He swallowed hard. Here was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen sitting next to him and she was going to a meeting of nymphomaniacs.

Struggling to maintain his composure, he calmly asked, "What's your business role at the convention?"

Lecturer," she responded. "I use information that I have learned from my personal experiences to debunk some of the popular myths about sexuality."

"Really?" he said. "What kind of myths?"

"Well," she explained," one popular myth is that African-American men are the most well-endowed of all men, when in fact it is the Native American Indian who is most likely to possess that trait.

Another popular myth is that Frenchmen are the best lovers when actually it is men of Jewish descent who are the best.

I have also discovered that the lover with absolutely the best stamina is the Southern Redneck."

Suddenly the woman became a little uncomfortable and blushed. "I'm sorry," she said, "I shouldn't really be discussing all of this with you. I don't even know your name."

"Tonto," the man said, "Tonto Goldberg, but my friends call me Bubbabare."

  • Nomad has exhausts on both sides, plus the mount have support at the bottom. The ones I have seen installed required extensive bracket modification.

  • 2into 1 pipe here, clear perfectly. Small cross over bracket, easily made, with cobra saddlebag mounts, did it on my vulcan 1500 fi, perfection!

  • @Jere, check out this one: BT Multi-Interphone

    http://www.amazon.com/Motorcyc le-Bluetooth-Multi-Interphone- headsets/dp/B001SUZNGW

I've had mine for 2 years and absolutely love them. Whether rider-to-pillon or bike to bike up to 500 feet away, and it has two channels so you can switch between the other rider or Bluetooth link to your cell phone (I use mine for listening to music from my smartphone, too).

The only thing I didn't like about it was the helmet mount clips, so I used stick-on velcro.

  • Much thanks! Hope helps others, too. My Mrs. just got a V-Star classic cruiser (650cc) and he have to coordinate for a lot more bathroom stops.

  • Thanks.

  • what do y'all run on the front? tires were a consideration on this bike. i ride 1000- 1500 miles a month, i don't really want a tire payment too.

  • Don't get the battle axe bt020. I just installed a spitfire II seems to have lots of tread depth time will tell. The meter 880 is a good tire for the ride quality but I don't think you'll get any more mileage out of it. For a commuter get a smaller lighter bike, the fuel savings will buy your tires

  • Thanks for the info, I've had this beast for about a week. my mileage is 39.5 MPG my old bike (Shadow VT1100) was getting 42.3 MPG. I may commute but i'm a big guy. From what all the dealers are telling me i should expect 8000-10000 miles from a tire, thats about a year. The "Dark Side" looks interesting.

Does anyone know how to adjust the friction zone of the clutch on a V2K — Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 VN2000 Rogue owners riders

Does anyone know how to adjust the friction zone of the clutch on a V2K? Right now it's way out at the end of the lever travel and I'd like to move the friction zone closer to the grip. I think I have to go into the clutch itself to do it, but has anyone else adjusted theirs? (Note: Not the free play of the lever, but where the friction zone occurs in the lever travel.)

Don't let your oil get dirty change it before it gets dirty no longer than 3000 miles or your 3 engine filters could clog like these, that's big trouble.

  • I hope they aren't full of crap I'd really hate to swap out a clutch set right now

  • Would sea foam be ok?

  • what is wrong with you guys , LUCAS oil treatment,I use the shit in my all my toyota V8, my boxtrucks and especially in both my ducati 999 and ZX-14, it resists carbon buildup and oil burn w/ regular oils and disperses particulates in synthetic oils in bikes allowing high rpm clutchless drag racing. LUCAS use by U.S military and Rally racers globally.

  • I run a gy tt 205/60/16

  • if you want to retain stock ride height, you need to stay as close to 26" overall tire height. Anymore than a 225 width and you will be "tire" modifying the drive belt cover.

  • How about taller? Anyone try running 205 65 or 70 series? I'd like to gain some more cornering clearance...

Right Guys — Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 VN2000 Rogue owners riders

Right Guys.

I need a new rear tyre. Just wore out my second Bridgestone in less than 5000.

I need something thats not too soft cos I want to see more than 5K this time if possible but good handling at the same time.

Everyone's opinions vary and its giving me a headache!!!!

Might go a bit wider (230ish)

Any ideas??

And I cant go to "the dark side" (its not legal in the UK)
