Get out of jail fairing repair — Kawasaki World

Get out of jail fairing repair:

align the crack and superglue and hold til set. Then clean and scratch up the back and put plenty of superglue on the back. Before it dries cut a bit of baby wipe and place it into the puddle of glue making sure it's fully soaked and in contact with the fairing. Stand back as it literally cooks solid.

Instant GRP fix! The baby wipe is a fibrous fabric and the water content sets it off really quick and solid. Sounds weird but works!

Well here is my zx6 g1 which I am lookin to sell so I can upgrade hopefully to something bigger! It's got mot till June and has 37600miles. It has braided lines, a new fuel pump, smoked screen, led indicators, had a service tail end of last year, has a redline straight through can and has a professional pure green respray. Bad points being few chips on belly pan and tyres could really do with a change but would most likely manage the summer depending obviously on use. Other than that it's a great runner, and tidy bike. Also will come with pillion seat and currently has fitted the legal size plate but small ones comes with. Would be open to a swap but otherwise looking at 1200 ono.

1982 Kawasaki Z1000J approximately 9800 miles from new (15800kms) full service history, original toolkit, absolutely immaculate, unrestored example, 11 months MOT German Import registered in the UK and has never been exposed to rain in its 33 years.

Might be looking at selling as I have been offered a Z1300 in the same condition, I would be looking at as near to five thousand pounds as I can get, bike is located in North Wales, approximately 20 minutes from Chester and the M56. I bought this as a keeper and still want to keep it (will keep too if the price is considered too steep) but I have already put an offer on the Z1300 and the space is my main worry.

Thought you might like to see a picture or two of our project 1000ST? It stood, in a friend's garden, for 20 or so years before we rescued it.

The two photos (one shown, and the other is via a link below) are actually artworks, of the ‘bike, that my partner painted; showing the rear wheel and the side of the engine, after an initial brush off of the dirt and cobwebs!

Mostly all there, but a gradual restoration is currently underway...
