    • Top opening bags are handy. They could be bigger though.

    • I use the Kawasaki tail bag on mine.

    • It's deep enough. Alittle wider would be better. But I just love the naked look better.

    • i have the givi rack for mine but no bags :( i would sell the rack cheap if anyone wanted to use it

    • I think that's what I hate the most is the rack when you take off the bags. I think it looks silly with the bracket and no bags but I always don't need the bags and wouldn't want to ride with just the brackets. That's alot of unbolting. Lol

    • Pic is a little fuzzy, but love my tail bag.

    • totally agree thats why i took it off

    • Oh look were twins lol. That's kinda cool. Where did you get the bag? Is it easy to remove?

    • I just never ride without my bags.

    • i dont own the bags :( just the rack

    • Cory McConnell LOL Got it on eBay. Kawasaki Tail bag. Can send you full info. Super easy. Straps secure under seat, seat locks down. Unlock seat, take it off then bag comes off. Simple. If you need to lock the bag, you can get the small luggage lock to lock the two zipper rings together.

    • SW Motech makes quick release racks, keeps the clean look and they go on and off fast.

    • Yea I would only have luggage on for day/weekend trips. For everyday riding I just use a small tail bag. I prefer the naked look as well

    • That's why I got the top box instead of saddle bags. When I don't have it on I can use the base plate to hold my tail bag

    • tail bags are the way to go

    • Justin Chapman I love my side bags on my big bike, but love the tail bag on my Versys.

    • Carla Clark I only wish I had them to use on longer trips (more than 2-3 days). Other than that I'd have no use for them. Top box is perfect for weekend trips and doubles as a back rest for my girlfriend

    • on the plus side, if you upgrade to a 2015 model there are no racks involved with the side cases so they pop on and off without having to install anything

    • Justin Chapman Yeah, I would use the top box much more than side bags on my Versys. I never ride two up, because my husband and I both ride. I like my side bags on on my CTX1300 Deluxe.

    • Would you say a normal size lunch box would fit in it?

    • Carla Clark "husband and I both ride" say no more, I'm already jealous (I HATE riding 2-up haha). Plus, the saddle bags work well with the style of that bike

    • Justin Chapman I like to be in control. I don't like to be a passenger.

    • Well I just got my 08 and I love it so plan on hanging on to her a while lol

    • Cory McConnell I have put a pair of shoes, etc. at once when I rode it to work. The bag unzips, and extends to be taller for extra volume. I didn't look, does the listing give the dimensions?

    • Dimensions: When the bag is in standard mode, it has an overall length of about 12", a width of approximately 10 1/2", and a height of about 7 1/4". It also is expandable, and is about 2" taller in the expanded mode

    • I have to measure my lunch box now lol

    • Cory McConnell Or, you can get the bungee net, and just strap it down to the back. I did that before I got the tail bag. It works great too.

    • Yeah I did that but the net seems real tight and it had metal hooks which was starting to scratch my grab bars. Plus I have a hard hat for work and my jacket I don't need After work that I can't carry and it's way too hot to wear after work.

    • Cory McConnell Oh, my net has rubber covering the hooks to protect the surfaces. All of that won't fit in the tail bag. I can tell ya that for sure.

    • You may need a small rear trunk like that guy posted on his, if you need to have room for a lunch box, hard hat, coat, etc.

    • Nah. I'll stick with the saddles lol

    • Cory McConnell My husband bought a Versys that had a trunk and side bags, he got rid of the side bags immediately and kept the trunk. lol They snap on, and off, so you only use them when you need them. The trunk came in handy.

    • You can see his with the trunk, and mine with the bag. It was handy. He just sold his Versys a couple of weeks ago.

    • My snap on and off to. It's the bracket that I have when their off I don't like lol

    • Cory McConnell Yeah the brackets for the side bags look stupid, but the one for the trunk isn't really noticeable. Just looks like an extension of the seat like a small luggage rack.

    • I'll keep them in mind. Thanks everyone

    • Cory McConnell Very welcome.

    • Only reason why I love my bags is I can put both our helmets in them so we're not lugging them around or if I ride by myself, then my jacket and helmet.

    • And we never have rode on the same bike either. No fun that way.

    • I don't think my helmet will fit but I'll check in the morning. That would be great if it did.

    • I have the kawasaki bags

    • Oh

    • I just ordered that tail bag off Amazon about 10 bucks cheaper then ebay

    • I have the Kawasaki cases on mine. I know they can be removed but I don't know how. Does someone has a video?

    • Nice

    • I've got a Kaw tail bag for sale if anyone's interested. Good shape, used a few times but I bought a Givi top case. (I hate the look, but love the practicality.) I think there's a small boot scuff on the rubber part. PM me an offer if anyone's interested. I won't be able to post any pics until later in the week though

    • Jim Colbert which gen does it fit?

    • Justin Chapman I have it on gen 2. Not sure if if fits 3 or not.
