  • Lay the bike on its side and soak it in wd 40 Do not hammer it !!

  • Why not?

  • Use a big brass punch and 2lb sledge hammer after you let some lubricant soak down in. It's common for this to happen. I use a mixture of grease and anti-seize on that bolt. Which I probably don't need to do if I grease it enough.....

  • Hacks hammer, mechanics or people that give a fkc press

  • If you hit the end of that bolt with a metal that is harder than the bolt, it will surely damage the threads. Using a softer metal will only damage the punch. A press is a good idea too if you have one. All I had was the brass punch and the 2lb sledge hammer. I used vice grips to hold the punch. A couple of knocks and it came right out.

  • I've always just threaded my nut back on flush with bolt gave one good swing then took nut back off and tapped it out lightly until I can grab other side of bolt with vise grips latch on and twist and pull lol

  • Unos pinches marrasos

  • After you get it out, get a new one

  • Yes, you will have to get a new one.. :)

  • This was the key to victory gents
