Has anyone ever done a clutch replacement before any tips guys

  • Soak the new clutch plates in oil before assembling

  • Soundsdaft but wheel the bike onto a scaffold board (or plank of wood) and when you put it on the sidestand the extra lean angle allows you to remove the casing with no fear of losing any oil.

  • Remember the last clutch ring sits in a different seat for the tangs?

    When resembling.

  • As with anything new take loads of pics as you disassemble, it's invaluable when you get stuck or are not sure.

  • Providing it was previously installed properly before ! lol
