  • Never heard of that before , i will have a look on the mot website. Mine have never failed before on it, dont want them to in the future.

  • Thats just some random post, the official mot test requirements dont mention anything about kelvin rating, only that it has to emit a sustantial yellow or white light.

  • Take it to where I go. If it works it's passed.. simples

  • I use a car one on my old girl and it works fine and you get to have a spare balast and bulb.

  • Same here, works out cheaper in the long run, if the blub or ballast break

  • It works out so much cheaper getting a car one, as you get 2 of everything.However you do need the hi/lo versions. I nearly bought just the single filament ones !
