    • 85 air box cover?

    • Pretty sure it is an 86 cover, The bike is an 86, but I bought an 85 seat cover since the aftermarket 86 KX seat cover that was available at the time was a lighter blue. The 85 was a better match. Had an 84 KX 125 with an identical airbox cover less the air vents The 85 & 86 500's were almost identical except for the f&r fenders & the rear drum brake on the 85.

    • The 86 air box cover should have holes

    • It's definitely an 86 bike with the kips engine and rear disk brake

    • It does you have to zoom in to see them. The pic was before the red uni filter you could see

    • I can see it now lol

    • I started out wanting to go original but availability was slim back then so i ended up settling for what I could get.

    • Same thing with my 86 125 but with an 87 seat cover lol

    • It looks really good. Is that mayor plastic

    • The side plates & rad shrouds were maier The front & rear fender were stock as well as the front plate & tank. The stock rear fender was way wider & longer than the 125, both made in Japan I kept them both Lol!

    • Gotta send a pics of my 125 That one is really sweet PC pipe Stage 2 Hot ignition complete restoration just waiting for the factory glaze to sand the tank still looks perfect in pics but it has two scratches that have to go!
