Recently moved to the new Versys 650 after several years of riding Honda VFRs. Love the 650 so far. It's a fantastic all-arounder with an engagingly nimble personality (whilst offering impressive comfort & fuel economy). Bravo Kawasaki R&D team!

  • Better than your previous VFR? I've always thought that Honda make smoother bikes..

  • So have I, but over the past 10 years or so it seems Honda has been content to simply rest on their laurels. Kawasaki's recent engineering efforts have really impressed me, especially this bike. I still love the VFR but the Versys 650 is a much more enjoyable all-around ride for me at this stage - it actually feels quicker from 0-60 and handles better at those speeds as well (BTW, Honda's vanilla NC 700x is no comparison).

  • Vanilla... dehehihoh! You got the point perfectly! I tried it, and found it more boring than a scooter, engine-wise. A bike for droning along on daily, spirit-killing, commutes...
